COMMENTS: One of Canon's lowest priced "L" series lenses. Optically excellent, probably as good as the 70-200/2.8. A stop slower of course, but then you do save about $700, so that's not a bad trade off. Accepts both the EF 1.4x TC and 2x TC to make a 98-280/5.6 or a 140-400/8 zoom. Internal zooming and internal focusing means that the lens doesn't change length when zoomed and the front element doesn't rotate during focusing. Overall a very good lens indeed and for an "L" lens, very reasonably priced.
