Spammers removed

I just spent a few hours removing all the spam that had accumulated in the forums and deleting several hundred "spammer" accounts. It's possible that I may have removed one or two legitimate users. If I have, accept my apologies and please re-register.

I have updated the forum software to increase security and I've made registration a little more difficult by requiring a more secure password and making the confirmation text ("Captcha" text) a little more difficult for machines ("bots") to read.

Hopefully this will cut down on the spam here, but I'll be keeping a closer eye on the forums for a while to discourage abuse, and blocking the IP of known spammers.
